Zooming in on Balanced Literacy: Conferring in Writing Workshop (3-5)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

One on one conferring with students is an effective part of writing instruction that helps the teacher zero in on student needs. In this professional development based on the book, How’s It Going by Carl Anderson, you’ll learn how to have conversations with a clear purpose and predictable structure. We will engage in conversations about the art and logic of conferring and practical techniques that will help your students grow as writers.
*Principal approval required for this course—campus budgets must pay for fall sub day.

Prereq: Zooming in on Balanced Literacy: Reading Workshop 2014
