The Round Rock ISD 2014 Summer Professional Development Conference will be two full weeks of learning opportunities for educators from around central Texas. In Phase 2 of BAS/SEL implementation, participants will: analyze texts to develop an understanding of text complexity and how F&P levels build complexity; understand the sources of information that students use to gain meaning from texts; develop an understanding of how to analyze sources of information the reader uses from a BAS/SEL assessment; understanding that strategic reading is a means to strong comprehension.
