The Social Studies Critical Thinking Lab is an effort to enrich teacher knowledge of the Library of Congress resources and spend time in deeper scholarship around the development of historical labs. Teachers will examine critical thinking labs created by Social Studies teachers, watch key video vignettes central to the premise of lab creation and spend time sketching out lab ideas for their own implementation in the classroom. This effort is to put learning application in the hands of the student and encourage historical analysis and interpretation.
