GT Update 4-8: Using Nonfiction Texts and Current Events to Improve Critical Thinking Skills

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

According to the National Council of Teachers of English, students must learn to “think clearly, strategically, creatively and critically”. Learn how to use nonfiction texts and current events to teach these skills, while incorporating depth, complexity and differentiation. Bring two LA/S/SS units that you would like to work on.
**Teachers taking this session should have completed their GT 30 hours of foundation training.
