Bringing Social Studies to Life: Using Fine Arts to Engage Students and Make It Stick

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Data suggests that the Fine Arts help students truly understand what they are learning by demanding the application of higher order thinking skills. More importantly, students are engaged and challenged in a fun learning environment that works. Participants of this workshop will be given access to multiple lessons that use these cross-curricular strategies to enhance their curriculum and will develop lessons that implement Art, Theatre, and Music into Social Studies content to help make learning meaningful and engaging to students.
*Teachers are encouraged to bring laptops.
